Why Virtual Events?
Now you can conveniently and safely meet single Muslims in a fast-paced, fun virtual gathering of eligible professionals. We’ll guide you through an interactive program filled with social activities so that the participants can mingle, join group discussions and chat one-on-one to narrow down your potential matches. Months or years worth of searching for a life partner condensed into one day. Read below to learn further details of our event structure.
We are very excited to invite you to our upcoming virtual Muslim Singles Events on 9/19/21 & 9/26/21 11am - 230pm EST which will take place via ZOOM conferencing for everyone’s convenience and safety. Please create your matrimonial profile here and register to attend.
Prepare For Success
You’ve already done the hard work to mentally prepare for meeting your soulmate, but there is much more work to be done! We have created a welcoming letter with tips to help you increase the chances of making a connection during our event. Once you have successfully completed the registration, we will email you all of the event information so that you are best prepared for success at the event, and thereafter.
Introductions
We typically start on time at 11am EST, so please arrive in the video chat 10 minutes early so that you have tested your video and audio and are ready to mingle
As we wait for all the attendees to arrive we will begin introducing the program, the Millan team and reviewing the event structure for first-time guests.
Then we will call on each single attendee to take one-minute to introduce themselves. Keep it simple and show your personality.
We recommend at this time, attendees should note candidates they are interested in connecting with further as the event can be fast-paced.
Group Breakout Sessions
Once all the attendees have been introduced, we will switch up activities to the group breakout session.
At this time, we will have multiple groups given a topic of discussion.
Those who participate will have a chance to think on their feet and let their intellect shine and will be an opportunity to share philosophies regarding the given topic.
Each group will select one brave captain to recap for the other groups, what topics were discussed and overall thoughts from the group’s consensus.
We will rotate groups so that everyone has a chance to meet with everyone.
One-on-One Chat Messaging
During & after the group discussions there will be time for you message and live chat with other singles.
It is recommended to keep the conversations brief, stay relevant to the topic and have prepared statements so that you can connect with as many singles as you wish.
If you would like to continue the conversation with someone, let them know.
We ask that you give your contact information as you please but do not ask for someone else’s contact info. They will give you their info if they are interested in connecting further.
