Jamal Mohsin, Founder
Jamal Mohsin is a veteran of the financial industry. After 25 successful years working as a stock broker and financial advisor at MJMFINANCIALGROUP.COM, he started a Muslim matrimonial event service.Mr. Mohsin has an MBA in Finance and MA in Journalism. He has always been involved in the community and has helped his friends and acquaintances find jobs and life partners. Mr. Mohsin had been in management for 11 years during which he hired and trained new recruits to become financial advisors. Before establishing his own financial planning firm MJM Investments in 2002, he has worked with several major financial institutions; UBS/PaineWebber, Prudential Securities, Met Life and NY Life. People had been asking him for his help in finding a match for their children because he is in touch with the Muslim community in the tri-state area. He realized that there was a need in the community for an organization like MillanUS.com. In 2007, the first MillanUS event was held with great success.
Farrah Mohsin, Event Organizer
Here from day one, Farrah has been a main organizer on the Millan Team. She has developed the event structure, from her personal experiences seeking a life partner she has implemented a program that guides single Muslim attendees to socialize, break the ice and enjoy the experience of connecting with other attendees. She loves seeing connections being made and continues to help those seeking a life partner find their match through Millan events.
Shayan Mohsin, Technical Director
From online marketing, website development to managing technical aspects of the events- Shayan is the hands-on master of the ceremony. Since Millan’s inception he’s been behind the camera documenting years of matrimonial events for archival purposes. See the film gallery for his works. Shayan has developed the current website to meet modern times, implementing easy-to-use registration forms to simplify the process of registering. He’s the innovator behind the virtual events so that single Muslims can more conveniently find their life partner.
Atiq Qadri, Event Coordinator
His passion for helping single Muslims meet their match speaks volumes about his character. As an event coordinator, Atiq volunteers his spare time to ensure attendees are comfortable and are finding the experience a pleasure. He’s always available during the event to lend an extra hand, make sure we have enough chairs and during the program helps attendees find their seats and move to the next table during rotations. We are so blessed to have Atiq part of the Millan Team!
Syed Adnan Bukhari, Event Coordinator
His dedication for assisting single Muslims meet their match is well-known throughout the Millan organization. As an event coordinator, Syed Adnan volunteers his spare time greeting the attendees and ensuring our newcomers are swiftly signed in. He’s always available during the event to answer any questions, make sure the program runs smoothly. We are so blessed to have Syed Adnan part of the Millan Team!
