Prepare For Success
You’ve already done the hard work to mentally prepare for meeting your soulmate, but there is much more work to be done! We have created a welcoming letter with tips to help you increase the chances of making a connection during our event. Once you have successfully completed the registration, we will email you all of the event information so that you are best prepared for success at the event, and thereafter.
Think Positive
Although we were brought up to respect the opposite gender and be humble towards one another we are often conflicted with thoughts when meeting someone you intend build a more intimate relationship with over time. The first impression is hugely important for making a connection that can lead to a follow-up meeting or conversation. The best approach is to stay positive, talk about things that excite you stay relevant to the conversation, and practice a light-hearted nature. Always remember to smile and laugh so that you elevate the conversation to end on a positive note. This will enormously increase your chance of success.
Make Contact
When you meet someone that you enjoyed speaking with, let them know that you would interested in continuing the conversation and offer them your contact information (e-mail address). We ask that you do not ask someone for their contact information because it may make them uncomfortable if they do not wish to give. After the event you will have the option to allow us to share your profile and information with other attendees which will increase your chances of meeting (on your own) for a follow up with a potential life partner.
Follow Up
Of course, it’s nice to meet people virtually but after the event it is upon yourself follow up with the candidates who attended and let them know that you enjoyed speaking with them. There is no shame in trying, as we are all sharing the common goal to meet our soulmate. But hey, if we are not a match maybe you have a friend or relative that knows someone who may be interested? It’s always a good idea to make a connection, exchange info and network so that we all can help one another find our future partner and grow our Muslim community in America.
